Pros

They had good healthcare benefits and the overall mission of helping to employ people on the autism spectrum is definitely a noble one, which I fully support.

Cons

TLDR: This company has a good mission, but they lean on this mission to underpay and overwork their production employees and leave them feeling unsupported. I, as well as a lot of the other people handling production, felt like the company only cared about us when it related to production. We were only allowed one 30 minute unpaid lunch break and small breaks throughout the day weren't incentivized, which is troublesome when you're using your body all day long to print. Management's only concerned was to "keep the press constantly spinning" and while they did have large orders that had a very short time frame to fulfill, I definitely was not compensated enough for how much work I put in. Especially with these types of turnarounds. This is a non profit, so I understand that my pay will be slightly lower than average, but I started at minimum wage, and pay increases were very minimal, and this job is definitely skilled labor. While picking up the actual process of printing isn't too difficult, diagnosing issues, cleaning screens, adjusting the press to create a desired print does have a learning curve.
