Great people, great company, and career

I have no cons as of right now.

Made me see the BS PM try to pull

Other companies that do the same work like to call Specialized the “rotating door” because they consistently undervalue and try to pull sheisty stuff that almost got lawyers involved. I got hired in October on salary and had a month to get my Wacel concrete 1 certification, which I did and was rewarded to being hourly in the winter where the work slows down. They explained to me that this would be a chance for overtime and i ended up only geting 20 hour weeks during the winter. When it came time to request a vacation, my supervisor explained i haven’t accrued any vacation time because i wasn’t working 40 hour weeks. If you get any certification with them they will try to hold you hostage for a year and if you try leaving you have to pay back for the certification. The worst company i have ever worked for and have been doing this kind of work for 7 years now and nobody has anything good to say about Specialized Engineering.
