Pros
- The pay is okay. - It could be good on paper.
Cons
- Zero structure: Lack of training, learning materials, guidelines and etc. Nothing is clear. Also, your work can change anytime depending on the person you work with as nothing much is written. - Crazy turnover rate kept confidential: During my 6 months with them, I was the 6th one who left the company while the total number of people in the Canadian office is around 20. Also when people go they don't make any announcements. They even ask people to keep it secret. - Exclusive company culture: As they said, I could have tried harder to get along with people but it's still weird few new people including myself were mostly been excluded from group emails and meetings, and events. - One-way communication: I saw the worst satisfaction survey in this company. Though they say they are cool and young, actually I found quite the opposite. You won't know what's going on in the company unless you dig into it. - Location out of nowhere. : Could be better if you live nearby or you drive a car but if not it would be a big pain. Summing up, It was a very special company in a bad way. Everything I believed to be common sense in old jobs didn't prevail in this company. Biggest regret ever in my career. Only after getting a new(normal) one, I realized they were special. There was a reason why they contacted people through a recruiter instead of posting on the job sites.
