Pros

- Good company culture and it's getting better everyday - Great people - your coworkers feel like friends/family - I feel empowered to change the status quo and make improvements to our business on a daily basis - Company is open to acknowledging your career goals and letting you explore different departments and options if you let them know what you're interested - Great insurance/benefits options - Great Perks: Dog-Friendly, Casual Dress Code, Event/Tuition Reimbursement Programs, 401(k) matching, Donation Matching, Gym on site, yoga classes, flexible work hours - Onsite cafeteria is not super expensive and stocks energy drinks! There are free coffee and espresso machines throughout the office

Cons

- Morgan Hill is not my favorite place, and is rather expensive for what it is - at least there are good restaurants here to hit up on lunch - Pressure to work longer hours even if you don't work out at lunch exists - Often feels like there's too much work to go around - not sure if there is an unequal distribution of work or if some people just don't pull their weight and aren't held accountable for that - Change happens often and it can be ambiguous - but if you can deal with that type of environment and drive decisions you're involved in, you will still thrive! - Can't tell if this is a pro or con or just a comment, but things aren't handed to you here, If you work hard and tell your leadership what you want, they will often try to get you there or find a middle ground

I totally agree that we have amazing people working here and that we are empowered to drive our own careers and to challenge the status quo. I totally understand your frustration with working longer hours and sometimes being overwhelmed by the amount of work. We are very passionate about our mission and know that sometimes we take on too much. We rolled out our Specialized Forever strategy at the beginning of the Model Year in hopes of bringing more alignment and transparency to our global team.
