Pros
The Head of Finance seemed more interested in sounding like he was on a lads group than running a professional department. Constant vulgar comments and inappropriate chat made the place feel awkward from day one. Says a lot when a new starter lasted less than a week before deciding they’d rather update the cvs than stay there.
Cons
Finance man seemed to think bullying counted as management and vulgar comments counted as banter. If you want to know what the atmosphere was like, have a quiet word with the female stafff, they’ll probably give a more honest exit interview than management ever did. Staff turnover was less a coincidence and more a survival instinct.
