Pros

Well compensated, great people to work with, users are extremely kind, company culture is relaxed, and overall a good place to work.

Cons

Lack of co-workers that are on the same "level" as I am. That was explicitly stated though, no deception.

We appreciate that you have written about your Sparton experience. It is satisfying to hear employees feel good about their compensation. It is our goal to pay fairly and stay cognizant of market data. In addition to your feedback about compensation, we are even more pleased to hear that the work environment is just as rewarding. We do believe there are many talented people here that can not only share their own knowledge with others but find different ways to challenge themselves on a regular basis through the many development programs that we offer. Thanks again for sharing your thoughts. It is appreciated!

Pros

Cool projects. 9/80 schedule. Decent benefits.

Cons

Toxic management. Old boys club mentality. Burn out culture. Resistant to change. Unlimited PTO is not unlimited and you are made to feel guilty for using PTO and penalized for exceeding 20 days. Management targets workers and plays favorites. Open mocking of other employees based on knowledge they shouldnt have. Very clicky, kinda like high-school. Located and in the absolute middle of no-where Florida. Those that have been there a long time only stay there because they live near by. Under market value for salary. Care more about optics than productivity. Set unrealistic timelines, workers are penalized for not making them but management is never held to the same standard. Everyone plays the blame game instead of owning up to their actions.
