I can not say enough good things about the staff, environment, and location of the Chicago spa. Everyone is an absolute pleasure. The commission is 30% with a mandatory 18% gratuity added on. So you effectively make 48% including tips. And it's common for clients to tip cash on top of that, meaning you often make closer to 60%. The pay is good, the people are great, and it has a steady stream of clientele, both locals and tourists.

If you drive, parking is expensive (as expected, it is the west loop.) It is also an independent contractor position, so you need to be mindful about paying your taxes. It is best to pay them quarterly.
