Pros

Unlimited time off. Work from home.

Cons

No culture. Does not pay well. If you survive the trenches and crazy turnover you may naturally rise to the top.

Thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts. It’s great to hear that you value our flexible policies related to time off and remote work. I do want to push back a bit on your comments about our culture, or perceived lack of one. While I appreciate your concerns, I see it a little differently. Sovos has always had a strong company culture and maintaining and evolving that culture has been and remains, a priority for us. When people ask me to describe our culture, I tell them about our core values – Be Professional, Be Adaptable, Be Inclusive, Be Proactive, Be Collaborative, Be Accountable. We often refer to these values as “how we behave”, because “how we behave” is our culture. It is remarkable to see our core values in action every day across our vibrant and connected global team. Particularly as we go through a period of remarkable and impactful change at Sovos right now, as we make the transition from individual point solutions to the global industry-leading platform that our customers need. While we can (and will!) always do more together to live our values and strengthen our culture, they are embedded in all the ways we recognize, appreciate and support team members – from our recognition and bonus programs to flexible time-off policies to employee and cultural programs. If you would like to share some of your own ideas, I encourage you to connect with your senior leader, regional HR team or feel free to reach out to me directly. I’d love to chat more 1:1. Thank you for sharing this, and welcome to the team! It's wonderful to hear that your recruiting experience set such a positive tone from the start. Cassie is a great example of the kind of Sovosians we are proud to have representing our culture, and knowing she made you feel informed and at ease throughout the process genuinely matters to us. We also love hearing that your first day onboarding helped you connect with our values and get a feel for what we do. That experience is something we work hard to get right, and your feedback confirms it's landing the way we intend. We're glad you're here, and we look forward to growing together. Pros

Being Remote and standard benefits

Cons

Sales leadership is horrendous. New people are brought in not trained, aggressive targets (that have never been hit) usually designed to be the escape goats to protect the old guard. Long tenured sales protects the existing power structures. When results slip, they blame newer reps. New hires don’t hit, quotas unrealistic, weak implementation. Nightmare of a company, the worst I have ever worked at.

Thank you for taking the time to share this. Feedback matters, even when we see things differently. Quota-setting and new hire ramp structures are areas we invest in seriously - they're because we want our sellers to win, not to set anyone up to fail. That's the culture we've built, and it's one I'm proud of. That said, I do hear that your experience hasn't matched that intent. If there are specific gaps in how you were onboarded or supported, I'd genuinely like to understand them so we can keep getting better. Please connect with HR or reach out to me directly. We're committed to building a team where every rep has a real shot at success! Alice Katwan, President of Revenue, Sovos
