Pros
Working at Sound Retina has been an incredible experience, and I feel genuinely proud to be part of this amazing team. From my very first day, one thing was immediately clear: patient care is the number one priority for every single team member. It's refreshing (and inspiring) to be part of an organization where doing the right thing for our patients always comes first.
Our culture is truly team-centered — we lift each other up, celebrate wins both big and small, and constantly look for ways to support each other. Expectations are clearly communicated, which makes it easy to succeed and feel confident in your role. And when life happens, Sound Retina shows up — whether it’s finding solutions to better meet team members' needs or simply recognizing the hard work that everyone puts in.
One of my favorite things about working here is how open and connected our doctors are with the whole team. They’re approachable, they value our input, and they truly encourage continuous learning. Questions aren’t just tolerated — they’re welcomed. Whether it’s clinical education or professional development, our doctors genuinely invest in helping each of us grow.
On top of the supportive environment, the benefits package is fantastic — comprehensive, competitive, and thoughtfully designed to rival what you might expect from much larger organizations. It’s clear that leadership cares about the long-term well-being of every employee.
At Sound Retina, you’re not just punching a clock — you’re part of something bigger. You’re helping change lives, learning from some of the best, and building real connections with your teammates along the way. If you're looking for a place where compassion, teamwork, growth, and fun are built into the culture, Sound Retina is the place to be!
Cons
Sound Retina is growing, and growing quickly. There are some pains that come with this growth; we have limited space in our clinics and this can cause some hectic days. We have a lot of patients, and not enough time to see them all.
