Pros
I joined Sound Physicians Advisory Services in February 2023, transitioning from my clinical role with Sound Physicians in the years prior, and my transition and experiences so far have been nothing short of fantastic! The onboarding process was well-organized and intense, which put me on the best foot to start in my new role. The leadership team is incredibly supportive, experienced, communicative, and very easy to reach. Their collaborative approach has made it easy to integrate into the team and feel valued from the start. During my first few months, I received ample feedback, which gave me the confidence to move forward in my role. There is a strong emphasis on ongoing education with a monthly education series, quarterly one-on-ones, and a yearly conference, and I’ve had many opportunities to participate in the team’s growth. So far, I’ve had the chance to participate in a couple of educational activities for the larger team, and I truly feel that my feedback on day-to-day workflows and various aspects of the job is heard and valued. My position is largely virtual, allowing me to work from my home office, which provides a great work-life balance for me and my family. The company culture is very collaborative, and while there is a hierarchical structure, it almost feels like a horizontal culture. The benefits are on par with the market, and there are significant opportunities for career growth in a decent-sized organization. Overall, I am extremely satisfied with my experience so far. It’s a place where I feel supported, challenged, and appreciated, and I look forward to growing my career here!
Cons
Like any growing organization, there are some scaling challenges as processes and systems adapt to increased demand and complexity. However, these are typical issues considering the size of the organization.
