Pros
Impressive name to put on your resume for future jobs. Met some amazing, hard working colleagues who have become close friends - trauma bonding will to that to people.
Cons
One of the most damaging jobs I’ve ever had for my mental health. Work load is relentless and unrewarding. Late nights and weekends are not only the norm but expected. Understaffed across all departments which means that you will likely be taking on at least 3 jobs at once with no recognition of that and little chance of a promotion. People in junior positions leave/quit because of burnout and then teams hire manager-level roles or even multiple roles for their replacements. Absolutely no regard for the internal talent busting their butts on a daily basis. Utter lack of professional development from day 1 - “baptism by fire” is the preferred method of training. The most toxic workplace with abysmal pay. If you enjoy brown nosing to the 1%-ers of this world then this place is for you.
