Not worth the views… - Ranch Hand Sorrel River Ranch Resort Employee Review

The resort itself is stunning. It’s one of the most unique places you’ll ever visit. Unfortunately due to some of the previous general managers, it didn’t get its due. But it’s a product that is easy to sell given how insanely beautiful this place is.

There’s been a lot of turnover on site staff which has led service to struggle. But I’m hopeful that with the new leadership in place that will change.

There are very pretty buttes

4 different people have had the role of GM since I started about a year ago. For a place that offers adventures, they sure don’t know how to keep that department afloat. There are a constant wave of contracted employees hired for “events” because they can’t keep anyone on their staff. These folks seem like they could use some hospitality or business classes. I’m not sure there is even just 1 person there that knows how to make a spreadsheet.
