Pros

Great benefits even for contractors. Flexible remote work Lots of great colleagues. Good pay.

Cons

Posted the job as a full-time position through them, it was actually contract contingent worker status through a 3rd party company. Was promised conversion to FTE, but leaders went against this promise. A week after disclosing I was getting tested for Autism, I was told my contract was not going to be renewed. Some colleagues and managers in the studios I worked with bullied and discriminated against me for thinking differently. DEI doesn't have any support for neurodivergent individuals. Toxicity and bullying.

Pros

Good culture in my department. Positive, supportive, professional. Work life balance has improved. Generally less crunch culture, although overtime hasn't completely disappeared. It happens but in my view the company does seem to be making efforts to avoid crunch as much as possible. Benefits are good.

Cons

Culture depends on the team. It's a big company and sometimes you may work with different departments, studios or teams who aren't supportive or professional. Can take a long time for the company to deal with problematic employees. Decision making from company leadership can be baffling. Limited opportunities for advancement. This has always been true, but it has gotten worse due to the economy and a certain administration. Pay could be better.
