Pros
Stable company that has been around a long time. Lots of great people to work with and around. Decent pay, safety oriented, and promotes from within. Generations of families employed with the company since the beginning over 100 years ago.
Cons
Like the rest of corporate America, the distance between top management and employees has continually grown, benefits and incentives that used to drive production, maintain morale, and give employees a reason to want to come to work have virtually disappeared. Annual wage increases are almost completely consumed by benefit cost increases year after year.
