Pros
I loved most of my coworkers. Working at Sonoco felt like a family. They pay well also. I enjoyed waking up every morning to go to work. If you fit in well and don't step on the wrong toes, it's a wonderful place to be.
Cons
The favoritism at Sonoco is like a disease. The point system only strictly applies to some. I was fired for supposedly going over my 3-point maximum during my 90 day probationary period. However, my time card never worked, it seems suspicious that I had any points at all. Once I received my termination letter, none of the points that were discussed at my "firing" were on there. In addition, I never even finished my full orientation, which means I never got to ask any questions concerning the full attendance policy or the any of the safety regulations. Also, the new supervisor who fired me had missed a few days himself and been more than 30 mins late and left more than two hours early. I was committed to my work and truly loved it there. However, it seemed someone was out to get me. I did however, always feel on edge about the possibility of losing my job,
