Cons
When I joined the company, they really seemed to care about the Mental Health of their employees. Even though the workload was tough, it was easy to be motivated as you felt that everyone worked towards a collective goal. Fast Forward to more recent times, the Customer Operations department has been overhauled 3 times. The leadership has been a constant revolving door because they are tied down on what they can do. The department is short staffed but they refuse to hire additional support. This has lead to everyone taking on additional responsibilities without extra pay. The support agents were even forced to do mandatory OT, which they might still be doing to this day. The team is burned out and the morale is really low. The departments don't communicate with each other. Everything is reactive and yet the company was able to purchase other companies and laid off a bunch of people last year. They just laid off another round of folks. Another big issue is the way that their billing is done will cause clients to be bulk charged months after receiving services. They don't proactively verify benefits like every other medical company. For a company that preaches to support Mental Health, this is added stress for already vulnerable individuals.
