Pros
This company has a pro-social mission and is genuinely improving the lives of both therapists and clients every day. Mental health accessibility is a real problem in this world, and we're working to address it. It feels good to work for a mission-driven company, and it's exciting and empowering to be on a team with peers who share your values. The pay is good, the benefits are good, and the culture is flexible, empowering, celebratory. At a company growing as quickly as ours, there is lots of room for career advancement and specialization. The work is ever-changing and ever-challenging, which means it's easy to stay engaged and be proud of your contributions.
Cons
This company still has start-up vibes. Sometimes there are hard deadlines, which make for long working hours. Sometimes, in our ever-changing pursuit of growth and product-market fit, we get orders changed on us mid-project. Sometimes this place is stressful, but it all comes from growing pains. We are *too* ambitious. People want our services *too* badly. These are problems, yes, and they've caused me a great deal of stress in my time working here, but they're unequivocally the good kind of problems to have.
