Poor management, disorganised and unprofessional - Anonymous employee Somerce Employee Review

There are no pros for this company

Firstly, I would not be surprised if positive reviews suddenly appear after this, as that seemed to happen often whenever criticism came up - so I wanted to leave what I believe is a genuine review for future candidates who deserve to know what they may be walking into. 1. The worst management I have ever experienced in my working life. It genuinely felt like even senior leadership and the CEO had no real direction or understanding of what they were doing. 2. They will happily give you significantly more responsibility and even a “higher title,” but don’t expect that to come with any actual pay rise. 3. A large number of employees felt incredibly fake. People will smile to your face, act friendly, then very quickly throw you under the bus behind closed doors if it helps them stay in favour with management or the CEO. 4. Work/life balance is practically non-existent. You can expect to regularly work beyond your contracted hours, sometimes even weekends, and don’t expect much appreciation or gratitude for doing so.

Opportunity to work around lots of different clients and areas.

One of the worst workplaces I’ve ever experienced. The environment was toxic, chaotic, and badly managed, with constant miscommunication. I was treated with little to no respect, and there was no support for employee wellbeing at all, which caused my mental health to seriously deteriorate while working there. There was no positive workplace culture, just stress, negativity, and poor management. Staff were openly rude and unprofessional toward people coming in for live shows and toward other employees. On top of that, there were repeated issues with incorrect pay. I strongly warn anyone considering this place to avoid it.
