Pros

- super high salary to account for all the nonsense that goes on inside the company - good people actually doing all the work, managers and scientists are pretty knowledgeable

Cons

- terrible executive leadership team, especially the CEO - scrapped stated values to make bombs for the government (but can't even make them, the science doesn't work) - work-life balance is nonexistent - if you're not working in the lab when someone randomly passes by you'll be laid off - CEO disregards any negative data or feedback from scientists, consultants, or other leadership figures and just does whatever he wants - frequent layoffs, no transparency

Pros

A lot of hands-on engineering. Process optimization is taken seriously here. Smart and collaborative team where everyone shares knowledge. Management encourages creative thinking and problem-solving. Opportunities to grow into different roles and advance.

Cons

None really. I'm here for the long haul.

Pros

As a scientist, I really thought that I would get plenty of learning opportunities here. I was mistaken, as that didn't happen.

Cons

This job is the worst. The employers are horrible. They use fear of job loss as a tool and try to run their employees' lives. They won't let you take a break for 5 minutes. It's a mentally draining job with no time to relax your mind. I still remember that the work strain stressed my body terribly, and I dreaded going to work. The leadership didn't see how we suffered. They kept on pushing us to do more and more. Most people I knew reached burnout before they finally quit. I was lucky to get another offer before I reached that state. As the employees in all departments were overworked and underpaid, there were tons of communication gaps that added chaos to the daily work life. I could blame no one because everyone was drained due to the endless mental abuse.
