Review of AF Division at SP
I’m specifically addressing my experience with the AF Division at SP.
The division struggles with a lack of leadership, direction, and mentorship. There seems to be little support for growth or development, which makes it difficult for anyone to succeed without bringing in their own client base. If you don’t already have a book of business, it's nearly impossible to thrive here.
Outside of one individual who is particularly challenging to work with, there are very few high performers or "big billers" within the team. The division experiences constant turnover, which is telling. Don’t be swayed by the tenure of the East Coast team members—many of them are not generating significant income and are, unfortunately, underperforming compared to industry standards.
The turnover rates are high, and despite frequent hiring, there’s little effort to offer the support or structure necessary to succeed. Weekly meetings, in particular, feel like a waste of time, filled with little more than noise and no tangible takeaways or value.
If you're early in your career, I would suggest looking into opportunities at a firm like Robert Half or exploring reputable boutique agencies within your market.
