Pros
You get to meet people from all over the world and work with a co-facilitator. You have excellent training and a lot of support from Soliya staff, including a coach who will observe you 3 times over the semester and give feedback. You learn a lot from facilitating and the more you facilitate, the more opportunities you'll have within Soliya.
Cons
Since it's a volunteer-based organization, the majority of Soliya's opportunities are unpaid. Additionally, it can be hard to find a facilitator to substitute for you if you're not able to make a session. You also don't have authority to ask participants why they miss sessions or why they're late, even when this impacts the group.
