Pros

For group fitness, the pay is competitive once you're performing at an advanced level (Pro/SMC)

Cons

-Easy to burn out if this is the only thing that pays your bills. No PTO, no benefits other than discounts, partner drop ins, and high flexibility. - Getting scheduled at a desired quota for livability (to make up for no PTO & no insurance) for someone who nearly works a "full time" class load is challenging and not guaranteed. Full-time coaching positions exist (20 classes/wk + additional responsibilities) and include benefits, but pays significantly less and the "math doesnt math". -Constant training management shifts and understaffing, incredibly difficult to get promotion plan support that is consistent, clear, and aligned.

Pros

Honestly, all the pros have been diminished over the last couple of years. The company used to be all about feedback, growth mindset and innovation but now this no longer exists.

Cons

People are the top think they have the best ideas. Most of the senior leadership has been replaced - before, ideas used to come from the field and it felt like everyone was contributing to the growth of the company. The values and “rules of engagement” used to be something we lived by and now it all sounds like empty words.
