Pros

Let me start by saying that they only received 3 stars from me because my direct connection with the company (my recruiter person) was amazing. He reached out consistently and was incredibly receptive and always there to help and provide support. My issues were with the company as a whole. They helped me found a job that I really liked, but the way things were set-up just makes working for them unsustainable.

Cons

No PTO- incredibly difficult when you're working in the schools DURING COVID Mental Health is excluded in their health insurance- so we can provide services, but we basically can't get our own. Speaking of mental health, their EAP is a joke....for mental health, it's, like a bunch of PDFs and a crisis line...which you can ALREADY reach for free without the EAP. Health care isn't great, but I guess they at least provide it at low cost. If you're in the schools, you don't get paid during breaks like everybody else does. Even after your contract, they force the district you're working for to buy you out if you continue working there. I ended up not staying, because my school said I'd have to stay 3 years OR pay part of the buyout fee.

Pros

Met some good friends and bonded over shared trauma

Cons

The salary is a misery, there are absolutely no incentives starting at 2% commission - for about a year, commission per month will be about $100 at the very best and yet they lie about first year OTE being about $15k. You’re also encouraged and expected to work over 40 hours a week even though there’s absolutely no incentives to do so and berated when you work what you should: The company has insanely high attrition and turnover rates. The majority of the company is under a year and actively trying to leave. One of their biggest problem is management; the majority of managers should not be in their positions. There’s a toxic culture of pettiness and arrogance. Do not expect to grow professionally at all-I was doing the exact same job as a manager who had been there for almost 10 years. Do not expect to feel supported or heard by any of the higher ups-they actively implements an alarming amount of changes without asking AEs first and then, when they don’t work, they make even more changes. Overall, if you can avoid working at this company, you should. It is a horrible place that preys on new graduates that have limited opportunities.
