Pros

Soliant has established niches in recruiting and you are able to define yourself as a 'specialist' in a specific industry. The organization provides for an opportunity to be fairly independent and the compensation structure truly rewards performers. As a Recruiter, you do see an equal return on your investment (time and work ethic put into the job). Secondly, management has taken a forward stance on utilzing social media, web advertising which creates beneficial visibility and also, has defined a healthy culture with who they bring into the organization. In addition, there is a sense of satisfaction being a part of a company putting such a focus on 'giving back'. From Win4Youth, breast cancer support, etc. the Adecco Group matches employees' contributions to charities and provides many avenues to volunteer.

Cons

As in any 'sales oriented' role, if you are underperforming expect to be held accountable to sales goals. This is not a position you can relax in; it requires constant dedication and self-motivation.

Pros

- The pay is not bad for the most part. You get paid weekly instead of biweekly or monthly. - Good way to start your CFY if you want to dip your toes into a school setting. - I got a placement very quickly (Only a few days). - Decent benefits (401k, medical, dental, vision). - Great support from my supervisor. - Great work/life balance.

Cons

- No pay during the holidays (summer/winter break) - Some miscommunication between the school and the agency. For example, on my first day at work, I was assigned to start at the beginning of the year. When I went to the front office, nobody knew I was the new SLP. The staff and I had to scramble on what to do with me. It was quite confusing and overwhelming. - The school district does not give you full access to their system (e.g., Areies, SEIS) due to not being a direct hire.

Thank you for sharing your experience and feedback! We’re glad to hear you felt supported by your supervisor, appreciated the work/life balance, and found the placement process quick and efficient. We also appreciate your honest comments regarding communication and system access challenges. We understand how frustrating that first-day experience must have been, and we’re continuously working with our school partners to improve onboarding and coordination processes.
