Pros

They give you a laptop that you can take home and use.......but everything else HORRIBLE!!!!!

Cons

Some departments are not organized and they will STAB you in the back. Their training is horrible and they show favoritism. They will pretend as if they like you when they hire you but...if you are not apart of their click they want to wing you out. It's great for me though because...I got a job at another Government place and I left with pleasure. The bonus is not easy t o get at all and the overall place is full of CRAP. It's funny how they make it seems like a great job but everyone their talks about SALES, SALES, SALES which had me skeptical. After that I knew it was not a place I was going to be for long. So if anybody want to work here BEWARE they have their pics and if they don't like the way you speak, look, talkative, happy go lucky it's not the place for you so don't apply believe me you are not what they want and you are not missing anything at all. I can go on and on but.....its no reason too at all.

Pros

Just to quantify my review a bit, I am within the top 10% of inside sales reps within our 12,000 person company. It is a great place to work and people doing well ARE able to make good money here. The executive team ALWAYS has a platform for reps to help make SolarCity a better place every quarter. They involve the top 20 reps each quarter in various ways to help their peers through an interactive group called Team Elite. Executives, VP's, Directors, and Managers are always willing to help and go to bat when there are issues with things that need to be fixed. The direction of the company is consistent and although the company is large, decision makers work as hard as possible to steer the big ship quickly when necessary.

Cons

Knee jerk reactions with decision making at a director level create issues from time to time. Culture has had its ups and downs due to HUGE growth last year and subsequent high attrition rates.
