Pros

Not much I can think of.

Cons

Want to take a vacation? Better work on Saturday/Sunday weekends to make up for lost time. The place is a revolving door with people. People come and go so quickly you can't even imagine. People are hired and let go just as quickly. They get people in to come in to perform certain tasks and expel them just as quickly. You see people for a short period and then they either quit in frustration or let go. Very poor management. If you have kids, say goodbye to them since you will never see them again. You're expected to spend all your time at the office. If you have kids and want to spend them with them, this company is not for you. If you do make a decision to be with your kids, you are not a team player. Parking is a joke since you have to park at the CSM lot and the shuttle picks you up. If you want to park at the lot, you have to pay. The free snacks are there to make them look fashionable, hip and cool. They want to present a "cool" hip environment as if they were an awesome environment to work and grow. It's good for show. Don't be fooled by it. Politics are thick enough to be cut with a knife. Working long hours beyond reasonable expectations are the norm.

Pros

Just to quantify my review a bit, I am within the top 10% of inside sales reps within our 12,000 person company. It is a great place to work and people doing well ARE able to make good money here. The executive team ALWAYS has a platform for reps to help make SolarCity a better place every quarter. They involve the top 20 reps each quarter in various ways to help their peers through an interactive group called Team Elite. Executives, VP's, Directors, and Managers are always willing to help and go to bat when there are issues with things that need to be fixed. The direction of the company is consistent and although the company is large, decision makers work as hard as possible to steer the big ship quickly when necessary.

Cons

Knee jerk reactions with decision making at a director level create issues from time to time. Culture has had its ups and downs due to HUGE growth last year and subsequent high attrition rates.
