Pros
-You are helping the environment -Health & dental Insurance were pretty good. 401k match. - The managers were nice. -Some of the events you got to work were fun. - Left alone to do your job with minimal supervision - Co-workers were cool since we all knew we were in the same boat
Cons
-Pay is low (14 bucks an hour.) -Barely anyone hits their commission goal, which is 5 sales a month. -The commission structure is set-up so that you don't make any money unless you hit your quota for the month, which is 5. That means you could sell 4 solar systems at anywhere from 12k to 30k each and not make a cent off it. -If you want to advance in the company you have to hit some ridiculous quota multiple months in a row (which wasn't impossible as I did see some people advance but it wasn't often). Even if you get promoted to consultant, the consultant position averages the same salary as an FES) -If you don't hit quota they constantly threaten your job -High turnover -Male dominated workforce -low morale, everybody I worked with complained about the company even the top performers
