good people / team - Junior Buyer Solar Stik Employee Review

Solar Stik was my second home for several years. I experienced countless opportunities for growth and always had the resources to to make meaningful impacts to the business and my personal career. The work environment is upbeat, and the team is a diverse mix of professionals from all walks of life. I couldn't recommend Solar Stik more to anyone searching for a job at any stage in their career.

Occasional requirement to work outside of normal working hours.

I enjoyed the work I did. Some of my co-workers were great. Insurance premium was paid by the company. Lots of free food. Christmas bonus.

Moved to St. Augustine on the hopes of being part of something great. Based on recent reviews I've read, absolutely nothing has changed. Everything was reactive rather than proactive. Was told my year worth of accrued PTO was being taken away due to changes in the company handbook and I would only be eligible if I agreed to change to a salary position (with no pay increase). They eventually made it right but really left a bad taste in my mouth. Suggestions for improvement were ignored. Quality standards were disregarded to get product out the door on time...something I refused to participate in. Hiring unqualified people based on looks.
