Pros

The only reason to go to Software AG is because you don't have another offer. Few would call it a career choice and the most common conversation among employees is about how broken the company culture is.

Cons

Turnover in Software AG Sales is 70% or more annually over 2-3 year periods (people leave in batches). At the Regional VP level it is 100% annually across the team. The comp plan, the sales strategy change each year and senior management live by dishonesty and lack of delivery. Industry competition and customers say, "Software AG is legacy software". That's a bad way to start a relationship. The products are 3 years behind the market as customers move to the Cloud and the company can't compete. Management will be hostile to you as you try to sell, but don't make your number. There is a 75% chance that you will leave within 2 years. One simple question: Why would you go work there?
