Pros

Socure is on a mission to scale and we are hiring new people everyday. There is no forward thinking when it comes to hiring because nothing is being done to retain the current talent. There is no real culture in place and no process for career development. The company relies heavily on OKRs, but despite this there is no follow up--we are a over a month into the new year and year-end results have not yet been communicated to the staff, Instead, there is a focus again to set new OKRs for the year and despite this being a confusing practice it is a also a signal to the current employees that the company only cares about setting stretch goals that are incredibly difficult to deliver on. There is no focus on rewarding employees when they reach these goals or a plan to deliver coaching/feedback and training when these goals are not fully met. Quite simply people matter and employees need more support. period.

Cons

lack of ownership from top executives and no support for employees. There is also no system to reward employees for the work they have accomplished. No career paths, just more hiring from the outside to fill higher level roles. No one is developing internal teams.

Pros

One of the highest-performing companies I've ever worked for. There is a strong culture of collaboration, accountability, and winning, with teams genuinely supporting one another to achieve shared goals. The company provides tremendous opportunities for both personal and professional growth, and you're surrounded by talented people who challenge you to continuously improve and succeed.

Cons

The same qualities that make this a great place to work may not be for everyone. Success here requires a high degree of ownership, initiative, and self-motivation. This is not an environment for passive contributors; you are expected to lead, solve problems, drive outcomes, and proactively navigate obstacles. The pace is fast, expectations are high, and there is a constant sense of urgency around execution and winning. While you have the resources and support of a larger organization, you're expected to operate with an entrepreneurial mindset and run your area of responsibility like it's your own business.
