Pros
Great benefits, flexibility, work life balance, opportunities for advancement, company cares about its employees, great job security
Cons
Lots of ‘red tape’ and politics given the large size of the company, old school with some procedures, decisions can take a while before any change is implemented, CEO wants everyone in the office everyday even though we’ve shown we can be successful remotely
Very DEI focused, so would be good if you are a minority or female candidate interested in STEM fields.
Cons
Currently going through layoffs due to shortfalls in budgeting allowed by the state. California has planned for decarbonization of the state, mid to long range outlook not promising. Currently requires 4 days in the office.
