Pros

Golf and gym benefits for employees

Cons

They actually don’t want employees using said benefits… at every corner they will find a way to reduce your opportunities to use such benefits, ie: reducing gym hours for employees to the most inconvenient times, and make you go through a completely beaucratic process just to get a tee time… and then the golf pro will not respond to said 2x times forwarded email. The GM keeps a club of 6 executives that are either inept or unwilling to help the rest of staff. The marketing executive’s job could be done by a free college intern - and they know it so they gatekeep all printing of menus, signage, and promotional material. The GM will show up in a tee shirt and flip flops and then criticize employees for wearing the wrong color socks. It is supposed to be a prestigious club but hold no members accountable for their behavior at all. They let members verbally abuse employees with zero repercussions. Upper management will squeeze all the life out of all its employees and then just move onto a new batch. AND THEY HARDLY PROMOTE FROM WITHIN

Pros

There are many perks that come with working at Snowmass Club. Gym usage, golf privledges, 401k benefits, and generous PTO/sick time.

Cons

It seems that the GM gets paid to play pickleball all day. It is disheartening to see a leader delegate all of his responsibilities to harder working managers, live on property rent free, and take 6 months of vacation a year. Zero visibility and complete disregard for what happens on property. There is also little room for growth and advancement. This is not the fault of the club, as there is not much turnover within senior leadership.

Pros

Imagine getting great benefits of golf and a gym

Cons

They buckle and dime you on golf and gym the entire time you work there introducing new rules and regulations throughout the entire year to stop you from getting said benefits. New hours that make no sense for employees for the gym. A golf pro that doesn’t answer your request to golf after making the crazy process to get a tee time- going through multiple managers—- will then tell you “you are golfing too much”
