Pros
People from really diverse career journeys who are passionate about both human-centred design as well as five mission areas. A very dynamic and fluid connect as the company grows that allows you to find your own place in the company. Encourage part-time working and different working patterns, with several people fitting in their own separate projects outside of Snook, or volunteering or lecturing at universities. A variety of clients and different projects means that you’ll learn a lot and have fun figuring out the best approach for each project - not a one size fits all clients type of place.
Cons
There has been a fair bit of change in leadership and organisational processes in the last couple of years so some chaos, fire-fighting and ambiguity, but the leadership team are really committed to learning what works and doesn’t work, fixing and trying out new approaches, as well as listening to ideas from across the company.
