Unrealistic expectations, far removed management - Estimator Snapsheet Employee Review

Pros

Work from home - only upside

Cons

Unrealistic expectations, little to no training, forced over time, you’ll change jobs without any notice or training. Estimates are cherry picked so more difficult assignments are left over which take time from your constantly monitored metrics. You’ll be micromanaged to death by high ups. You’ll be asked to work ALL holidays. 50 hours a week is expected, everyone is burnt out and you are threatened if you speak out saying so. You’re rewarded for producing high volume horrible work, and written up if you take the time to do it properly. Management is out of touch with the work and would work you 24 hours a day if they could, every man for themselves

Pros

Permanent remote setup with a functional unlimited PTO policy. The company is scaling well and consistently hitting financial targets with new and larger contracts. Company encourages innovation and creative thinking to solve for the ever-increasing scale and technical challenges. People are genuinely happy here, and it is reflected in the tenure.

Cons

Compensation is average and stays pretty flat. There are no performance-based bonuses, equity, or other financial incentives. While the base pay is consistent, the lack of an "upside" or variable pay makes it less competitive for high performers compared to other companies in the industry.
