Pros
Owners listen to workers. It is a nice collaborative environment where you can wear many hats and get involved.
Cons
If you are looking to move up the corporate ladder this may not be the place for you. We are all hard workers but titles are not a thing we strive for.
Pros
Reliable and Steady growth gives great sense of job security - 0 need to furlough or lay off DURING COVID Company has made concentrated efforts to focus on team building, personal development, and addressing any concerns. Product and Team has excelled over the last few years with a "startup" feel and is now poised for rapid growth You get to connect with hundreds of companies that are making real differences in the word - in particular energy conservation. Working with them you feel a sense of pride in seeing the affects SnapCount has across the entire industry. There's nothing better than driving past some notable project buildings and knowing you had an impact in that happening.
Cons
Keeping a lean team leads to some limitation in "Title" advancement. However, work effort and growth is recognized appropriately given that limitation.
Pros
Occasional lunch paid for by the owner
Cons
No room for advancement due to having several roles unfulfilled, and the owner refuses to hire. Everyone in the company is overworked because of juggling several roles, projects and customer accounts. There is no flexibility in scheduling, and you are unspokenly expected to work a minimum of 45-50 hours a week. In an 8 month time span, 6 employees have left the company for various reasons due to the way the company has been run. Day to day workload varies, as the company is not very well organized with priorities. Work efforts are not fully designed before submitted to the SDLC. Management and Owners are not in sync, you will never hear the same instructions from mgmt/owner. Owner & Management are heavily into micromanaging, and are quick to play favorites. For the company only having 20 employees between 2 locations, they are very strict on policies and are discriminatory to people with disabilities.
