Pros

Perfect way to build a solid foundation of experience as a developer. The team is easy to get along with and always available to provide support. Opens you up to a network of likeminded individuals, some of whom will undoubtedly become your close friends and helpful resources at some point in your software career trajectory.

Cons

The Coronavirus has forced Smoothstack to go remote for the time being.

Pros

Hands-On Training: Smoothstack provides immersive, in-depth training that really prepares you for real-world projects. Supportive Environment: The team fosters collaboration and mentorship, making it easier to learn and grow. Career Growth Opportunities: After the initial training phase, the company helps place you on engaging projects, giving you a chance to rapidly build your portfolio. Strong Community: There is a sense of camaraderie and teamwork that helps keep you motivated and eager to learn.

Cons

Fast-Paced Learning Curve: The training can be intense, so it might feel overwhelming at first if you’re not used to a rigorous schedule. Location Flexibility: Depending on client locations, you may need to be open to relocating or traveling. This can be a challenge for those seeking more predictable schedules.

Pros

nothing absolutely nothing, do not work here.

Cons

I'd give this place zero stars if I could. Shady business practices, no real understanding of how to run a company or manage employees, they micromanage people, the number of vacation days provided is a joke, lots of turnover at the senior management level which should tell you something, no business strategy, I could go on and on.
