Many complaints about dentists are swept under the rug. Incompetent dentists were knowingly sent out to schools and when I complained, I was told that they didn’t want to lose schools by canceling visits. Dentists are also paid extra for certain procedures, which leads some dentists to perform unnecessary extractions and fillings just to make more money. I think I remember them saying about 90% of patients they see have their services paid by Medicaid. So they basically figured out how to take advantage of the system and are wasting tax dollars all in the name of profit. The company no longer puts the children’s needs first.
