Pros
Getting a EASA attestation for free could be a pro for some people. Meeting amazing cabin crew who work in this company was also an amazing experience - though not enough to compete with the bad.
Cons
Since SmartLynx is ran on the most shady business model, they refuse to hire their crew and make you sign a contract with an European company based on the UAE which has a contract that clearly states that you are NOT an employee, they don’t OWE you anything, they do NOT have to pay any basic income, they can leave you months on end at home without a job or money. And god forbid if you get another job while you’re in the company but at home for god knows how long because they will change your roster whenever they feel like it and you HAVE to accept it - that of course if you do not wanna lose the job. If you’re lucky, at the end of the year they give you another horrible contract. If not, they’ll send you home with no explanation. Oh and stand-by? That’s a thing from the past. If you’re at a base, EVERY day is a stand-by. They’ll change your roster whenever they feel like it and don’t even imagine complaining - you’ll be sent home on unpaid leave. No career prospect, no getting permanent, nothing. You’re disposable and they truly show you that.
