Pros

They can have some decent contract work. Just make sure you pin them down on details - if there's ever a question on scope they will usually pressure the contractor to eat it. Definitely wouldn't work there full time.

Cons

Small boutique that has been doing EBS for a long time and now seems to be struggling with transitioning to Oracle's new cloud product offerings. Lots of tension and back biting in the office - management seems to be at odds with each other a lot. Not a fun environment to be in - best to avoid the office and just keep your head down as much as possible. Benefits are basic and expensive. No 401k match etc. If you're looking for a full time role there are a lot of better places out there.

Pros

When I came to SmartDog, my goal was to choose a company where I would be working with good people and with a leadership team that I could respect. My goal was also to find a company where I could be happy for several years and could continue to build my career vs. just doing a job. Thankfully, that’s what I've found at SmartDog. What makes SmartDog a great place to work really boils down to a few key points for me: • People - Sounds clichéd, but the people you work with on a day-to-day basis are everything. We have a dedicated, passionate, and super talented team that I love working with. • Leadership - The exec team is awesome. Approachable and selective about getting the "right" clients, and hiring the right people. • Work & Culture – The work is challenging. The environment is dynamic and fast paced. No two days are alike.

Cons

Although it is actively being worked on, in some areas there is a lack of consistent processes, which can be a challenge at times.
