Pros
They never bounced a check off of me. There are some good sandwich shops in the area. He lets you get out at 3pm on Friday so he doesn't have to pay for a 40 hour week and so there is no chance for overtime.
Cons
Total misuse of employees. I don't know what job the previous people had but I was severely under compensated and was verbally abused on a daily basis. Myself, and all of the sales staff and marketing department, were constantly told how stupid we were and how the owner knew everything and we knew nothing at all. Imagine working for a spoiled brat who is so insecure with himself that the only way he can make himself feel better is to make you feel bad about yourself, every single day. It was mind numbing after a while. I'm 52 years old and have worked for my entire adult life and I have never seen an employer as bad as this one. Not one perk. No health or dental or anything, a kitchen are that is a shed he built on the side of the building illegally (the sink drains into the parking lot, very healthy)no sick time (but now Jerry Brown forces him to, thank Jesus), no vacation time, no personal time, no parking, limited air conditioning, no pest control (he's too cheap, and he admits it, so sad). Even the desk chairs are so beaten, and back breaking, I had to bring my own from home. No holidays unless forced by the Gov't. His WiFi is so bad he used to yell at me for streaming music over Pandora. By far the cheapest man I have ever met. No room for growth whatsoever, as a matter of fact he'll keep pushing you down so he doesn't have to pay you more money. He wants your advise until you give it and then if it's good he'll take credit for it and pretend you never mentioned it.
