Pros

"promise"of big carrot, but no telling how long that stick is. keeps you motivated to keep showing up most days

Cons

extremely unstructured and always rushed/put out the fire type work. can't ever get ahead because always putting out fires caused by rushed work. terrible never ending cycle

Pros

As a start up you will have hands-on opportunities to use multipe types of technologies from CAD to HMIs. Hardware will center on tech utilized for pharmaceutical skids.

Cons

Almost no tools or equipment. Most equipment of any worth disappeared during past layoffs and was never replaced. Same goes for other typical resources a company would typically provide (I.E. desk phone, monitor, keyboard, etc.). Most importantly no communication of timelines or priorities.

I don't think this review is about SIFT. We don't do CAD, and we don't do pharmaceutical skids. I think maybe they picked SIFT by mistake from a drop-down list? Every employee has whatever system they choose (Mac, Linux, PC), we pay for cell phone service of your choice, and provide funds for home office. We haven't had layoffs - we've let people go for not fitting the work environment, but not because we haven't had work. I really think this is some other company. I tried to get GlassDoor to remove this review, but they say it meets their community guidelines.
