      Pros

      Smarsh is growing. Adding many more customers that the number leaving. Very skilled individual contributors and some great managers.

      Cons

      The old Smarsh culture was on of entitlement who saw no problem having to borrow money to meet payroll. It has been embarrassing trying to buy tools needed to do work for paying customers only to be rebuffed because Smarsh was not paying its bills. OUR CURRENT CEO HAS CORRECTED THIS. But some the old guard linger and are not pulling in the direction of being profitable.

      Decent product, and global market penetration.

      Cons

      Mergers have been devastating for staff and morale - I saw three in my tenure. Merit does not seem to matter. When new management comes in, everyone is axed.
