Pros

The people here are the best part about working for Smarp. Everyone is a team player and will step out of their own day to day responsibilities to help another colleague out. I love our values: #GSD, #FOMO, #BESMARP, #COLLABORATE, #NOPAINNOGAIN and #SOLVER - you can find the explanations behind these on the website. I feel like these are really woven through how we operate and not just fluff words on HR materials. Being a smaller company you know your work is meaningful everyday and has an impact on the success of the business. The executive team does a good job of motivating and celebrating successes. It's easy to support/sell a product you truly believe in as well. The Smarp platform is easy to use and solves real business needs of some of the worlds largest organizations.

Cons

I wouldn't consider Smarp a startup but it still has that startup mentality and that can be a pro and con at times. With small teams to support this powerful product there can be challenges with personal bandwidth and getting the resources or support you need as everyone is stretched thin. Like I mentioned above, the teams all work well together and everyone is willing to help each other out though.

- People: energetic enthusiast co-workers (both young and experienced ones) - Culture: #GSD #fomo #besmarp #collaborate #nopainnogain #solver - Humble executives: They beware of what they don't know, and step aside to let the experts make the decision in their respective fields of expertise.

Cons

As expected from any startup, a little bit less compensation in the current in exchange for potential big gain in the future

Pros

International culture Nice coworkers get you through incompetent management

Cons

Management does not know what they are doing across the board Product is not as revolutionary as company claims - there are TONS of competitors Startup salaries with poor vacation and corporate working hours Unpredictable decisions from people not knowing what they are doing masked by reasoning that "startups move quickly" Buggy product that is at times impossible to support Sales team is celebrated but they don't bring big sales Company will not survive. Thank you for your review. We appreciate your feedback and I will answer each of your comments to the best of my ability individually. First of all, we do have a very international culture that we are proud of and colleagues that truly are a pleasure to work with. Regarding the competition in our industry, the whole category has grown exponentially in recent years that has bought many new competitors that we welcome to the market. We do not fear competition but embrace it and think that it proves that the market we created is truly a global phenomena. We have grown with our market and we believe that the biggest driver of this has been our incredible team having gone through the journey of a start-up to a global growth company. Our working hours are always in accordance with local laws which at our HQ is maximum of 37.5 hours per week and provide flexible working hours. Our vacation policy is also in accordance with local laws, which at our HQ is 30 days paid vacation (25 during first year of employment) on top of the national holidays. We allow our employees to go beyond this by taking unpaid time off when needed. Our product is proven by over 200 customers and revenues that have grown every month for over 40 consecutive months that has at least doubled every year. These are all the work of our exceptional product and sales teams and things that we feel are worth celebrating. We do understand that our fast-paced environment is not for everyone, and do our best to give an authentic view of our culture when recruiting new team members.
