People don’t actually enjoy working here. Toxic management and toxic owners. “This place put me off of working with mushrooms. It's a mushroom factory not an urban farm. Leadership is so focused on expanding their brand and making it #instagrammable that they have created awful working environments (read: toxic, predatory management that are protected; also a literal actual toxic environment due to filthy farms with horrible air quality). You get free mushrooms to eat, that's great, then you'll throw away literal hundreds of pounds of excess rather than routing to folks in need. But you wouldn't know that from their website or instagram. If you're a mycologist, run far, far away. It'Il break your heart. If you want to learn about mushrooms, go almost anywhere else.”
