Pros

There was so much to do. There isn’t an idle time so you’ll never be bored.

Cons

Processes are slow. We still do things manually, feels like working in the ice age! I don’t understand why management still couldn’t figure things out when they’ve been operating for years! Working here is ridiculous!

Thank you so much for this, it really means a lot to the whole team. We work hard to create an environment where people can do their best work without burning out, so hearing that it shows means we're on the right track. And we love that you want to refer friends! Growing our footprint is very much part of the plan, so hopefully that con won't last too long. At our last all hands we shared the new locations were expanding into! So glad you made the change. Welcome to the Small Door family. Florent Peyre Co-Founder & CEO

Pros

People genuinely care about the mission and about doing good work. There’s a strong sense of community across clinics, and teams don’t feel siloed. Coworkers are supportive and collaborative, especially on the clinic side. It feels human — most people here want this to be a great place to work.

Cons

The company is growing quickly, so things change often. Processes are still evolving and not everything is fully built yet. It may be frustrating if you prefer a very stable or predictable environment.

Thank you for this. The way you describe it, people who genuinely care, teams that feel connected, a culture that still feels human, is exactly what we are working hard to protect as we grow. Your advice is something we take seriously. Staying close to the clinics and keeping listening to our people is not just a nice idea, it is core to how we want to lead. Growth will always bring change, but you are right that the culture and community are what make Small Door worth building. Thank you for being part of this. It matters more than you know.
