Pros

Laid back, management is hands off and trusts you to sell booth space at cities all over the country - now 18. Company has millions of lead sources including from former reps (and there are lots of them), Google and in house searching. Management does small giveaways and contests, brings in a masseuse, and provides free soda and chips. This is to make you feel good about the $100 a day they're paying you to sit there for 8 hours (do the math).

Cons

Exactly. Management insinuates that you could make 6 figures (a typical ploy to anyone's greedy nature). But closing deals is a rarity. There are four senior reps who "own every big company" and you'll be splitting those commissions. For instance all the wireless carriers, banks, whatever. They're already someone's account. So you're expected to hunt for new leads. Good luck. That's the other problem. They'll tell you that 3000 people are expected to show up in Phoenix (only 350 did). In other words, the small insurance, law, accounting offices that are exhibiting - ain't coming back. Another thing you can "sell" is a workshop. Their Atlanta Show (when I left) didn't have a single workshop sold so they're giving them away. I wasted a little over a month on this company when I finally got fed up for personnel reasons I won't go into.

Pros

Working at SBE has given me the opportunity to wear multiple hats in a meaningful way. I’ve been able to contribute across different projects that directly support the company’s growth while expanding my own skill set. One of the biggest highlights is seeing the company’s values reflected in day-to-day decisions. Compared to my experience at Meta, this role offers a more hands-on environment, giving me clearer visibility into the impact of my contributions. Overall, it’s been a great environment to take ownership, grow quickly, and contribute in a way that feels aligned with the company’s direction.

Cons

The fast-paced environment requires flexibility and the ability to take on diverse responsibilities, which can be energizing for those who thrive in dynamic settings.

Pros

Working here truly feels like a dream job. Being remote, you're given the comfort of home, while still having opportunities to travel to shows, where you get to meet interesting people and connect in person with your team. Leadership is incredibly supportive without being overbearing. There’s no micromanaging, which makes a huge difference in my day to day productivity and morale. The team is truly amazing!! Everyone is supportive, helpful, and kind to one another. There’s also plenty of opportunity and room to grow here which makes work exciting . The company runs the shows with excellence and it gives you confidence and pride in what you are a part of.

Cons

Honestly, not much to mention here. Be fiercely organized and stay on top of your tasks and everything should be alright.
