Pros

Probably the job scope.

Cons

Extremely poor management. DO NOT ever work in this place if you are looking for career progression because there is NONE. Management always makes empty promises to employees but fails to deliver. They do not believe in cultivating talent. There are no opportunities for growth and there is a constant air of suspicion lingering among employees. Morale is always low and turnover rate is always high. This is pretty much a dead end job. Perfect example of what a workplace SHOULDN'T be.

Pros

You’ll gain an impressive level of resilience. Think of it as corporate bootcamp—minus the leadership, vision, or purpose.

Cons

Where do I begin? If you’re passionate about being gaslit, micromanaged, and talked down to by leadership, congratulations—you’ve found your paradise. Smaato (Verve) offers a front-row seat to toxic management at its finest, where upper leadership thrives on cutting people down instead of building them up. Direction changes with the wind (or maybe just with leadership’s mood swings), and employees are expected to navigate the chaos without a map—or even a compass. Transparency? Only if you count being told one thing and watching the complete opposite unfold behind closed doors. And let’s not forget the business practices. If you enjoy working somewhere that plays fast and loose with ethics, you’ll feel right at home. “Trust” and “stability” are just words tossed around in all-hands meetings to kill time between layoffs.
