Pros

- Flexible work, flexible time, but can sometimes be unlimited work all around the place - Decent pay

Cons

- No health insurance, or anything, just base salary - There is a lot of work, but since this is a small company then the members are just a few people, and the CEO doesn't have clear work policies regarding the basic employee needs, such as work hours, overtime pay, and so on - The turnover is EXTREMELY HIGH, no one stays longer than a few months. I myself met several people joining the company only for them to leave just a few weeks or months after that. This is due to the CEO just wanting people to work on a lot of tasks without having a sense of boundaries between when is work and when is time for a more personal life balance - Mostly, you will be asked to work on weekends, the regular day work is already long, and add to those extra weekends that you are expected to work on as well - The long hours of work don't compensate well for other WLB work benefits

Thank you for sharing your perspective. At Slooze, we are a small company and intend to stay small, focusing on building a team that aligns with our standards and culture. We give fair opportunities to candidates who feel a startup is the right place for them, even if things don’t always turn out as expected. We understand that startups aren’t for everyone—they require adaptability, commitment, and a willingness to operate in a fast-changing environment. We also recognize the glamor often associated with startup work, but the reality is intense and requires dedication. Regarding compensation, we almost always pay at the level defined for the role, and in many cases offer higher pay for those who contribute significantly beyond expectations. Finally, based on your feedback about meetings, we are unclear if it refers to us—our current challenge is actually over-meetings, not under-meetings, and we are actively working to improve efficiency and clarity in this area. We value all feedback as it helps us refine our hiring, culture, and practices to attract and retain the right talent.

Pros

- The salary is decent but doesn't include things like health insurance, etc.

Cons

- The team never have a long-term people except the CEO, it's whether they are gone just after they got accepted, or no more than six months as far as I know - The work hours just doesn't have any standard, they say about flexible working but in truth you are expected to work 7 days a week and at all time especially on the night

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We appreciate the honesty. Slooze is an early-stage, fast-growing startup, and that comes with a level of intensity and ambiguity that isn’t the right fit for everyone. We’re building in a complex space, and the pace can be demanding—especially as we work to establish strong foundations. At the same time, we respect boundaries at work and focus on accountability through clear ownership and visible outcomes, rather than hours logged. As we grow, we are actively working to improve clarity around roles, working norms, benefits, and long-term team structure. Constructive input like this helps us identify where we need to mature as an organization. We’re committed to evolving—not just our product, but also our culture and operating practices—and we wish you the best in your next chapter.
