Pros

They do seem to care and try. Have health benefits (not superb ones, but for such a small company in such an expensive health benefits area, that counts for something). Decent PTO that turns to great PTO the longer you are there. Fun employee events, wellness perks, etc.

Cons

Some clique-iness, after all, is almost all women in the company, but not as bad as you'd think. No holidays or sick days on top of PTO - have to use your PTO for the holidays they're closed, as well as when sick. Seem to often overload employees with more than they can and should have to handle, causing work-related stress to sky rocket.

Pros

Only pro is the building you work in, and your in the Vail Valley. Lunch vendor presentations are a positive. The gorgeous architecture of projects and celebrity clients make it exciting.

Cons

Stressful work load Work every holiday Horrible pay So so benefits Snotty co-workers! I worked here twice! First as an associate then again as lead designer. Designers live to work here... but trying to work to live. The salary makes it impossible. A lot of pressure and workload put on interns and new design associates. Slifer wants you to work your life away for pennies. Cliquey atmosphere. The worst design firm I've worked for in terms of work conditions and job satisfaction and enjoyment. Employees gather outside work hours and complain about the company every chance they get.
