Pros

Other than a few decent peer relationships and clients, I have nothing good to say about this organization.

Cons

Where to begin... I think the root of all the agency's issues is that senior leadership is entirely out of touch—out of touch with the experience at the individual contributor level, out of touch with how some managers are condescending bullies to their reports, and out of touch with how some clients abuse the team because they know the agency is so desperate to please that they don't care about the internal impact. This company will make you question every ounce of your self-worth. But if you speak up, you'll be retaliated against and punished because certain leaders take it as a personal attack and those who recognize the issues are too afraid to bring them to the top. Management has total immunity (it's built right into the onboarding decks that they shouldn't be criticized) and they know it, constantly complaining to each other and even sometimes their own reports about other employees. If you have a different work or learning style than others, you'll be made to feel like you're difficult to work with. Then they'll ask for your input and then ignore it and if you continue to raise a flag or the business inevitably loses a contract, you'll see the convenient coincidence in the sudden upcropping of "performance-related" PIPs and terminations. They will blame the turnover on employees not being able to hack it in agency when certain of them wouldn't last elsewhere themselves because they've grown so used to getting away with expecting others to pick up their slack. You know it's bad when multiple people have overheard your work calls and commented on how their company wouldn't tolerate such behavior. Or how after being told you're bad at your job, the first new one you get treats you like a human being and instantly restores your confidence. It's laughable how Slide Nine is so inside their own bubble they have no idea people don't take them seriously as an employer or service provider. A final word for prospective talent and clients alike: don't waste your time.

Pros

I work with clients who are doing interesting things, but the people here are truly the best part of the job. Smart, kind, funny, collaborative and always down to lend a helping hand. Whether it’s a brainstorm, a deadline or just needing a gut check, someone’s got your back. I’ve felt mentored, encouraged and pushed (in the best way) to grow. The overall company culture is super supportive and I feel comfortable bringing my whole self to work.

Cons

Like most agencies, it’s fast-paced and high standards can feel intense at times, but you’re never in it alone!
